The era of fuel injection in internal combustion engines is far from over.
Even though electric vehicles and other alternative technologies are gaining traction, fuel-injected ICEs are expected to remain a dominant force for decades to come.
Here’s why:
* Cost: ICE vehicles with fuel injection are generally more affordable than EVs.
* Infrastructure: Gas stations are plentiful, while EV charging stations are still catching up.
* Range: Traditionally, ICE vehicles boast a longer driving range than EVs on a single tank.
* Performance: ICEs can deliver more power than some current EVs.
Looking ahead, we can expect:
* More efficient, precise and cleaner fuel injection systems.
* Greater adoption of hybrid powertrains.
* Increased viability of alternative fuels like hydrogen, ammonia, ethanol, biodiesel and so on…for ICEs.

A new Software update with the control system and
test plans has been published on our website.
You can also order a special mount and coupling
with support points and a RPM sensor from Stardex.
(Testing is available on Stardex Ultima devices released after 10.19.2021 or MainCPU Firmware version 3.23 or higher, You can view it in SISU program in the settings tab, the “Firmware version” button)

STARDEX® PIEZO TESTER
Device for analysis of piezo injectors.
The device is designed to measure the gap between the piezo
actuator and the pusher of the nozzle valve, as well as the
resistance of the piezo package and the insulation resistance
at a given voltage.
With the help of this device and a micrometer, it is possible
to measure the expansion of the piezo package of
VDO/Siemens/Continental and Bosch piezo injectors at various voltages.
The device is equipped with a mini computer and a color touch screen on the front panel.
